He understands the unique challenges faced by military service members and their families. Our staff are advocates for military students and offer incoming students support through every aspect of their School experience with GeorgiaCC, helping them make the most of their education.
VA Benefits
Georgia College of Construction is "Approved for VA Education Benefits". The Department of Veterans Affairs is the government agency responsible for determining eligibility for VA education benefits and for authorizing payment for the benefits. If you have questions about the available benefits or your eligibility, please contact our admissions office at 770-918-2577

If you wish to pursue a degree using your VA benefits at GA-SC, our admissions department will help you complete all the necessary paperwork to certify enrollment or to make changes in enrollment, to ensure eligibility for VA benefits.
In order for your enrollment to be certified for VA Benefits at GA-SC, you must be admitted to the School and registered for classes. In addition, you will need to complete the form. We can assist you with completion of this form. This form must be completed prior to each semester you are enrolled in classes and receiving benefits.
Additional paperwork may be necessary if:
- This is your first time using your benefits.
- This is a change of program or change in the place of training.
- You have been discharged. In this case you will need a copy of your DD-214.
- You may contact the GA-SC Certifying Official for assistance with this paperwork. Some questions the Certifying Official may ask:
- Have you applied for admission?
- Have you received VA education benefits before?
- What years did you have active military service?
- Are you still active?
- Are you an active reservist?
- Are you a dependent of an eligible parent or spouse?
- If you are disabled and wish to apply for vocational rehabilitation, contact the Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist assigned to you.
